Aston Villa are the latest club to be linked with a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The 22-year old is in the final six months of his contract at the Emirates, and, although he has been offered a new deal, has turned it down because he wants guarantees about regular football.
He came close to joining Crystal Palace last summer, and the South London club are again reported to be interested in him, along with Brighton, West Ham and several clubs in the Bundesliga.
Villa, though, have also now emerged as potential suitors with Steven Gerrard unhappy about the striking options at s available.
They have Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings, but, so far, the pair have failed to form an effective partnership when paired together.
Given his contractual situation, Nketiah is now free to negotiate a free transfer in the summer, so the Gunners may be ready to sell him now rather than lose him then for nothing.
