Crystal Palace have revived their interest in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The South London side came close to capturing the 22-year old last summer, to the extent that both clubs had agreed a fee for him, only for the deal to fall through when he was unable to agree personal terms.
However, with the striker now in his final six months at the Emirates and having turned down a new contract, they could be set to make a move for him once more.
Nketiah has featured mainly for the Gunners in Cup football this season, with Premier League appearances limited to cameos off the bench.
He did play the entire FA Cup tie against Notting ham Forest on Sunday, but, like the rest of the team. Struggled to impress and he made a mess of the one good chance that came his way.
Mikel Arteta has repeatedly insisted that he wants Nketiah to stay at the Emirates, although it is hard to move beyond the assumption that he will never be more than a back-up option for a club like the Gunners.
