Borussia Dortmund are considering Chelsea star Timo Werner as a potential replacement for Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian has become one of the most sought-after properties in world football, and, since signing for the German club from RB Salzburg in January 2020, he has scored 76 goals and 20 assists in 75 games for the club.
There is now an increased acceptance that they will not be able to hod on to a player desired by every major club in Europe, including Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.
So Dortmund are already making plan for life without him and one of the names in the frame for them is Werner. who has struggled to make an impact inn West London, but, in his previous career with RB Leipzig demonstrated that he is a proven goal scorer at Bundesliga level.
He is under contract with Chelsea until 2025.
