Record signing Romelu Lukaku is already unhappy at Chelsea and wants to return to Inter Milan.
The West London club paid almost £100 million to bring him back to Stamford Bridge in the summer, but he is dissatisfied with the bit part role he has since played under Thomas Tuchel, and is now regretting the move.
The 28-year-old Belgian striker has scored seven goals in 18 club appearances, including against Brighton earlier this week, but his progress has been hampered by injury and illness, and, even when fit, has not always been included in the startling line-up by Tuchel.
It is a further blow for Chelsea who began the season as one of the title favourites, but who have seen their challenge fade in recent weeks and now find themselves eight points behind Manchester City going into the New Year.
Lukaku first joined Chelsea as a teenager back in 2011, but struggled to break into the first team, before finding success away from the club.
