Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has suggested that midfielder Conor Gallagher will return to the club at the end of the season and compete for a place in the squad ahead of the next campaign.
The 21-year-old is in the middle of a season long loan with Crystal Palace where his form has been so good that it earned him a call-up to the England squad and a first international cap against San Marino last month.
There had been suggestions that he could be recalled back to his parent club next month, but, under the terms of his loan deal, he has now passed the threshold of appearances that allowed for that to happen.
There have also been reports that, given the competition for places at Stamford Bridge, that Chelsea would look to sell their academy graduate in the summer, but now Tuhel has dropped a broad hint that the club sees his future remaining with them in West London.
