Willian has now opened up about his disastrous spell at Arsenal.
The Brazilian was signed on a free transfer from Chelsea in the summer of 2020, given a three year deal on close to £200,000 a week.
It was hoped that his experience would help the young players in the Gunners squad with their development, but he failed to settle in North London.
He quickly attracted the ire of the home fans and was criticised for his lack of effort, and his lack of end product, whilst many regarded him as being given game time that should have gone to more worthy recipients.
In the end both sides decided to cut their losses and, after just one season, his contracted was terminated by mutual consent.
Instead, he moved back to Corinthians in Brazil where he began his career, reportedly taking a big pay cut to do so
Now he has admitted that he was not happy at the Emirates, and that within three months of his arrival there, he already wanted to leave.
