Turin and Italy striker Andrea Belotti is the latest Serie A player io be linked with a move to North London and Arsenal.
Belotti, who is 27 years old, is in the final year of his current contract with Torino, and has shown no signs that he is willing to sign a new deal, even though the club would dearly love to keep him.
His contractual situation means that he Is free to begin negotiating with clubs from outside Italy in January, and even sign a pre-contract agreement with them.
And he may even be available for an immediate move, if the two clubs can agree a transfer fee, with Torino looking to realise some value for the Italian international whilst they still can.
The Gunners have made signing a new striker the priority for next summer, but the recent disciplinary problems with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang may tempt them to accelerate such a move.
