Winger Christian Pulisic is the latest Chelsea player to be linked with a move to Barcelona.
Along with Cesar Azpilicueta, and Antonio Rüdiger, the Catalans have added Pulisic to their wish list, but, whereas they are hoping to sign the other two in the summer when their current contracts at Stamford Bridge expire, they are looking for a more immediate move for the American.
They are hoping to sign him on loan in January, exploiting the fact that Pulisic is struggling for game time this season, given the heavy competition he faces from the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Hakim Ziyech.
The player himself is reported to be open to the move, as he looks to get his career back in track, although injuries have hampered his progress in West London.
Barcelona’s cash strapped situations means that they can only contemplate loan moves in the short-term and not cash deals.
