Former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum has been linked with a January loan move to Arsenal.
The Dutch captain left Anfield at the and of last season when his contract expired, and moved to PSG to join Mauricio Pochettino’s start studded team.
However, with the competition for places in Paris intense, he has struggled for game time, and is reported to be unhappy about his failure to start regularly for the Ligue 1 leaders.
Now it is reported that he is interested in a January loan move to England, and that Arsenal are one of the clubs with whom he has been linked, wanting to play regularly with the World Cup on the horizon.
The Gunners will be looking for midfield replacements when the window opens, with both Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny due to miss the whole of January on international duty with their countries at AFCON, and Wijnaldum would offer an experienced option.
