Antonio Rüdiger looks like he may become a Real Madrid this summer.
That follows reports that the German defender has nominally reached an agreement with the Spanish club to sign for them once his contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season.
The fate of the 28-year old has been fiercely debated in recent months, with Chelsea desperate to keep him, but failing to match his wage demands.
He has been linked with a host of clubs both from within England and across Europe, but it now looks like it is the Spanish league leaders who may have won the race for his services, beating of competition from Bayern Munich who also topped the offer Chelsea made to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
