Arsenal have been linked with Romanian teenage striker Ianis Stoica.
He currently plays for the top team in Romania, FCSB, formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, where he has enjoyed a breakthrough season, soring six goals and providing two assists in 14 games so far.
And that has attracted interest from abroad, with the Romanian media suggesting that Arsenal scouts have been tracking his progress since September.
Stoica, who is already an under-21 international for his country, is described as physically strong, technically skilled, and tactically astute. He first made a name for himself when he scored on his debut aged just 14, but, according to FCSB owner, they are not ready to sell him just yet, and that they want to keep him for another year or so.
As always in these situations, money tends to talk, so if FCSB receive a good enough offer, they would be amenable to part with the teenager.
