Mason Mount is ready to leave Chelsea if his treatment with the club does not improve, with Real Madrid already circling.
The England international opened contract talks with the Champions League winners in September about a new deal, but negotiations have stalled, with the player unhappy about what he is being offered.
Mount, who has been with Chelsea since he was six years old, is looking for a substantial improvement on his current wages of £75,000 a week. However, he feels that what is on the table so far reflects the fact that the club still treat him like a youth player, and that his treatment compares badly compared to some of the stars that the club have bought in recent years.
He still has nearly three years left on his current deal, so resolving the issue will not be a top priority for Thomas Tuchel, with other more pressing contractual situations to be addressed.
