Red Bull Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi is the latest striker to be linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have made signing a forward their next priority in the transfer market, with both Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah likely to leave the club when their contracts expire in June, whilst club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be starting the last year of his current deal.
Adeyemi, who is 18, was born in Munich to a Nigerian father and Romanian mother and was on the books of Bayern Munch for a spell during his youth career.
He joined Red Bull Salzburg in 2018 and has played for them 67 times in all competitions, scoring 24 goals. Adeyemi made his senior debut for Germany in a World Cup qualifier in September, and scored against Armenia.
Salzburg are reconciled to losing him, but any club wanting to sign him will have to wait until next summer.
He is valued at around £18 million.
