Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is being linked with a January move to Liverpool.
Bought in for £60 million to replace Eden Hazard, the American international has had a stop-start career at Stamford Bridge to date, with regular injuries hindering his progress.
He has barely played this season under Thomas Tuchel, with his start to the campaign delayed after catching Covid, and then he missed 12 more games through injury. He did though score against Leicester on Saturday.
And having fallen down the pecking order under the German, Pulisic Is reported to be unhappy in West London.
Now Liverpool could offer him a chance to revive his career. They will be without both Mo Salam and Sadio Mané in January at AFCON, and, with both players around 30 years old, have already begun future planning.
And a move to Anfield also has the attraction for Pulisic of the opportunity to work with Jurgen Klopp again, a man he played under during their time at Borussia Dortmund together.
