AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié is being linked with a summer move to Arsenal,. With Manchester United also reported to be monitoring developments.
The 24-year old has less than a year left on his current contract with the Serie A club, and attempts to tie him down to a new deal are currently stalled, with the two sides unable to agree on terms.
He is looking for close to £150,000 a week whereas Milan has so far offered him just over £100,000.
And that could give an opportunity for the Premier League duo to sign him on a free transfer, although Antonio Conte’s Tottenham may try and pre-empt them by making a January move for him.
Ivorian international Kessié joined Milan from Atalanta in 2019, and has made 100 appearances for them in all competitions, scoring 20 goals helping them finish second in the table last year and qualify for the Champions League after several years’ absence.
