Chelsea are neck and neck with Manchester City to sign Dinamo Moscow starlet Arsen Zakharyan.
The Russian international has forced hs way on to the radar of the top clubs in Europe with his performances for the Russian side this season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists in 14 senior appearances this campaign.
Still only 18, the midfielder is highly versatile, wit the ability to play on either flank or centrally.
His form has seen a host of other clubs express an interest in signing him, among them both Madrid clubs, Sevilla, and Ajax, whilst Jose Mourinho’s Roma are also tracking his situation.
Zakharyan is already a full Russian international, making his debut In a World Cup qualifier against Croatia in September.
Nor is he the only Russian that Chelsea are tracking. It is also reported that they are keen in signing his club colleague Konstantin Tyukavin, who has managed six goals and an assist in the current campaign so far.
