Alexander Lacazette could join Barcelona on a free transfer next summer.
The 30-year old Frenchman has forced his way back into Mikel Arteta’s pans in the last few weeks, and, after coming off the bench to grab a last-gasp equaliser against Crystal Palace, he has started the last three league games.
However, with doubts about his ability to last an entire match – he has been substituted around the hour mark in all those games, -the Gunners are In the market for somebody younger and fitter.
He is in the fianl year of his current contract at the Emirates, and, with no extension likely to be offered, he will allows his contract to run down, meaning that Barcelona, with their money problems, would not have to pay a transfer fee for him.
