Chelsea are considering making a move for Bayern winger Kingsley Coman.
The 25-year old has a contract with the German club until 2023, but, although the Bundesliga champions want to extend it, they are far apart from the player’s demands.
He is reported to want his annual salary doubled from its current £8.5 million, whereas Bayern are prepared to offer him £11 million a year.
With his agents considering allowing his contract to run down so that he can leave for free in 18 month’ time, the German club find themselves with a decision to make.
They are reluctant for a repeat of what happened with David Alaba, he joined Real Madrid after his own contract expired and, instead, may look to sell Coman whilst they can still extract maximum value for him.
Now the Premier League side are monitoring the situation closely, along with Barcelona.
