Arsenal are still keeping tabs on Dani Ceballos.
The Spanish midfielder spent two seasons on loan with the Gunners, but they declined the chance to try and make the move permanent, and he was allowed to return to his parent club Real Madrid.
However, he has yet to feature for the Spanish side this season after picking up an ankle injury in the summer, and faces a real fight to get into Carlo Ancelotti’s side, with the established trio of Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modric all ahead of him.
A number of clubs are monitoring his situation including former club Real Betis who he left to sign for the Madrid side.
However, they are not the only ones, with Arsenal also looking at him again.
The Gunners are looking for midfield reinforcements in January, with Granit Xhaka currently injured and Thomas Partey scheduled to be at the African Cup of Nations with Ghana.
