Chelsea, along with Manchester United, are being linked with a move for Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
It follows reports that the Catalan club are open to the idea of selling the 29-year old German.
He signed for the Spaniards from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2014, and soon became the established number one at the Camp Nou, making nearly 300 appearances, and keeping 117 clean sheets in the process.
The interest from Chelsea may seem surprising given the fine form of Édouard Mendy, but with doubts surrounding the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga, with speculation that he may want to try and engineer a way out of Stamford Bridge next summer, then having an established stopper to kep with Mendy is regarded as a desirable option for Thomas Tuchel;’s side.
It is also rumoured that both Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich are also monitoring the situation of the German international.
