Inter Milan want to sign Alexander Lacazette next summer.
The 30-year old who came off the bench to score an equaliser for Arsenal against Crystal Palace on Monday night with the last kick of the game, is out of contract at the end of the season, at which point Inter want to sign him on a free transfer.
And they are prepared to offer him a three year deal worth close to £4 million after tax.
Lacazette knows that there are a number of European clubs interested in signing him, but given the financial difficulties still facing many of them,, he will not receive many offers that come close to matching that made by the Serie A side.
Due to his contractual situation, he can formally begin talks with foreign clubs in January, and can even sign a pre-contract situation with them.
Despite his heroics earlier this week, Arsenal have declined to offer him a contract extension as they look to reduce the age profile of the squad and reduce their wage bill.
