Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger Is unhappy with the latest contract offer made to him by the West London club, which he has described as “disrespectful.”
The German international’s current deal at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of this season and he has been courted by a variety of foreign clubs, including Bayern Munich, and PSG, whilst, closer to home, Tottenham are also interested in acquiring his services.
The Champions League winners are still hopeful that they can extend his stay at Stamford Bridge, but, if they are to do so, it seems they will have put more money on the table than they have currently offered him.
Rüdiger knows that he can just run down his contract, and that he is free to begin negotiations with foreign clubs in January.
And that in turn, may force the hand of the Premier League club and they may look to sell him once the window opens again.
