Arsenal are ready to bid £25 million for Dutch winger Noa Lang, currently playing for Belgian side Club Brugge.
A graduate of the Ajax youth system. He moved to Brugge initially on loan last season, and helped them win the Belgium league title, scoring 17 goals and providing a further 11 assists,
He has already scored four goals in 14 appearances or the Pro League side in the current campaign as well.
And, having recently made his full international debut for the Netherlands, he is beginning to attract the notice of bigger clubs.
Brugge are aware that it may be the time to cash in on him next summer, but, in a bid to beat off the competition, Arsenal are prepared to bid for him as early a January.
That will put the Belgians in a quandary. Accept the money then, or deprive themselves of one of their starts and hope that somebody is prepared to pay more for him when the summer transfer window opens again.
