Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is considering a shock return to Arsenal, four years after leaving the club.
The England midfielder is becoming increasingly frustrated about is lack of opportunities at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp since returning from injury.
That ruled him out for four months at the start of last season and has made just four appearances for Klopp’s side since.
The 28-year old won the FA Cup twice with the Gunners in a six-year spell with them scoring 20 goals in 198 appearances, despite never nailing down a fixed position during his time at the Emirates.
He is currently under contract until 2023, but is now contemplating a link-up with former team mate Mikel Arteta in North London.
The Gunners are reported to be interested in a loan deal for their former player which would see them agree to pay his weekly wages, currently believed to be around £125,000.
