Arsenal target rejects new contract

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahović has refused to sign a new contract at his current club Fiorentina,

And that will alert the host of clubs tracking his situation, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Atlético Madrid.

Fiorentina club present Rocco Commisso has now confirmed that several offers have been made to the 21-year old, which would have made him the highest paid player at the Serie A club, but he has rejected all of them.

And, with his current contract due to expire in 2023, they are now considering selling him to maximise their value from him.

His form last season, scoring 21 goals in 37 league appearances, made him one of the hottest prospects in Europe, and Atlético had a bid for his services turned down in the summer.

But with his future now appearing to lie outside Italy, they may be encouraged to try again, although Arsenal and his other Premier League suitors could have something to say on the matter.
