Captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva could both leave Chelsea on free transfers next summer, with their current deals at the club in their final 12 months.
Azpilicueta is into his tenth season at Stamford Bridge. Abd, during his time at the club, has won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup, and the League Cup, and the Champions League.
He remains a key player under Thomas Tuchel and it seems inconceivable that the will not be offered a new deal to extend his stay with them.
The case of Silva is a little less clear cut because of his age. He arrived as a 35-year old free agent and impressed enough in his first few months to be offered a one year extension.
He has just turned 37, and Chelsea need to be convinced he can continue to play at this high level in order to earn the chance of another year.
