Chelsea are among a clutch of clubs interested in signing Bayern Munich and French winger Kingsley Coman.
Liverpool, Tottenham, and Juventus are also set to join the battle for his signature.
Coman is under contract with the German club until 2023, but has expressed the desire to play elsewhere, feeling that he is under-appreciated at the Allianz Arena.
The 25-year old has won a league title in every season of his senior career, but his inconsistency means that he has struggled to secure a regular first-team place at any of the clubs he has played for to date, starting with PSG, and then Juventus, and, more latterly Bayern, whom he joined in 2017.
Recently Coman, who has played for France 34 times, scoring five goals, had a minor operation after a heart irregularity was discovered. He is expected to resume training again later this week, and his long-term prognosis is set to be good.
