PSG are eyeing a move for Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger next summer.
Chelsea have been trying to resolve the future of the German international, who is entering eh final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, for some time. However, sources indicate that very little progress has been made, and, unless a breakthrough can be made before January, the 28-year old will be free to open negotiations with a foreign club, and sign a pre-contract agreement.
PSG then could sign him for free next July, in the same way that they concluded deals for Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum during the last window.
Since compatriot Thomas Tuchel took over the helm at the Bridge, Rüdiger has been an integral part of his plans, and he has played very minute for him this season.
And, unless progress can be made, this may prompt Chelsea to go back into the market to try and sign Jules Koundé from Sevilla again in January.
