Greek centre back Dinos Mavropanos could be set to make his loan move from Arsenal to Stuttgart permanent.
He joined the Bundesliga side on loan last season and helped them to a ninth place finish in the top tier of German football.
That loan was extended for a further year in the summer, with the club whose Technical Director is Sven Mislintat, the man who first brought him to Arsenal, when he had a spell In North London as head of recruitment.
Mavropanos has become a fan favourite during his time with the German club, and there is a clause in his most recent loan deal that allows Stuttgart to make the move permanent for a fee of £3 million.
Now it looks like they could be ready to trigger that option, with the 23-year old seemingly not part of Arsenal’s plans under Mikel Arteta.
