Striker Eddie Nketiah will remain with Arsenal for the season ahead, after a proposed move to Crystal Palace fell through.
The Gunners had agreed a fee with the South London club for the record England under-21 international, but with everything else seemingly in place, Nketiah was unable to agree personal terms with Palace.
Instead, they turned their attention northwards and signed Odsonne Edouard from Celtic instead, agreeing a four-year deal for the 23-year old.
Nketiah is currently recovering from an ankle injury, but his first-team chances at the Emirates would appear to be very limited in the months ahead, especially as there is no European football this season to give fringe players some minutes.
Alexander Lacazette will also be staying at the club, even though he only has ten months left in his current contract, like Nketiah, and has indicated he is not interested in signing an extension.
