Arsenal are still licking their wounds after their disastrous start to the season, which has left the club rock bottom after three games, having scored none and conceded nine.
Now they could yet make a late bid in the transfer window to sign Real Madrid’s Marco Asencio.
The Gunners have already raided the Spanish club to sign Martin Ǿdegaard permanently, but are considering going back to sign his erstwhile teammate.
The 25-year old is not a guaranteed starter under Carlo Ancelotti this season and, although not somebody they are actively looking to move on, they are prepared to listen to offers for the 25-yearb old.

Asensio has two years left on his current deal at the Bernabeu and holds both Spanish and Dutch citizenship.
