Michy Batshuayi is close to ending his Chelsea career, with Turkish club Beşiktaş having reached an agreement for his signature.
The Belgian international, already a peripheral figure at Stamford Bridge, has been pushed further down the pecking order following the arrival of compatriot Romelu Lukaku at the club, and knows that he needs to move elsewhere if he wants to play regular first-team football.
At present the two clubs are exploring both a loan move and a permanent deal.
A 2016 signing from Marseille, Batshuayi has made 77 senior appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring 25 goals.
However, he ahs endured various loan moves during his time in West London, enjoying spells at Borussia Dortmund, Valencia, and Crystal Palace (twice).
Despite his lack of regular playing time, he was included in Belgium’s fianl 26 man squad for the Euros this summer, though he did not feature in any of the matches.
