Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez is in talks about a possible switch to La Liga and Sevilla.
The Spanish club are worried that they may be about to lose Jules Koundé to Chelsea, and are looking for a potential replacement.
Despite signing for £38 million from Ajax in 2017, Sanchez has struggled to nail down a starting place at Tottenham, and fell out of favour under Jose Mourinho, before fighting his way back into contention.
However, he was mainly relegated to the bench under caretaker Ryan Mason. And whilst he may have felt the departure of Toby Alderweireld to Qatari side Al-Duhail last week may have opened-up space in the squad, Tottenham have made signing a replacement for the departed Belgian a top priority.
Koundé could be set to become Chelsea’s first major signing of the summer, with Thomas Tuchel keen to strengthen his defensive options. He has a release clause of £68 million, but Chelsea, mindful of Sevilla’s financial position, will be aiming to pay less than that.,
