Ruben Loftus-Cheek can resurrect his Chelsea career.
That is according to manager Thomas Tuchel who has offered the midfielder the chance to prove himself, despite the club looking to trim their bloated squad before the transfer deadline day.
Loftus-Cheek played for Chelsea in their 2 -1 friendly win over Arsenal at the Emirates and generally had a good game, although the Gunners will be regretting his involvement In the game for another reason.
He caught midfielder Thomas Partey on the ankle five minutes before half-time and now the Ghanaian could miss the start of the season, with normally a four to six week absence expected with his type of injury.
The England international is back at Stamford Bridge having spent last season on loan with Fulham.
And he is determined to make his mark at the club, where he had begun to establish himself before an ACL injury suffered in a post-season friendly two years ago seriously hampered his progress.
