Manchester United could be looking to sell Anthony Martial this summer.
The French international has struggled to command a first-team place under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and his minutes are likely to be even more limited with the arrival of Jadon Sancho at the club.
And with Solskjaer having signed a new three year contract – with an option for a further year – Martial may have to accept hs Old Trafford days are over.
And with a need to recoup some of the £73 million they have just spent on Sancho, and with other big money moves planned for the likes of Raphael Varane, selling Marial now would help to recoup some of the money spent.
Tottenham, who are potentially seeking a Harry Kane replacement, but Martial’s wages could be a big hurdle. He currently earns £250,000 a week at United, something that Spurs would not be willing, or able, to match.
