Chelsea are ready to offer striker Tammy Abraham to Borussia Dortmund in part exchange for Erling Haaland.
And they have told other clubs, like Aston Villa and West Ham, who are interested in signing Abraham this summer, that he is not available whilst they try to firm up a cash plus player offer for the Norwegian international.
However, Dortmund believe that Chelsea’s valuation of Abraham at £50 m is inflated, given that he found him struggling for game time under Thomas Tuchel towards the end of last season.
The Bundesliga club have always maintained that Haaland is not for sale this summer, and, having sold Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, they are in no immediate need of the funds.
Chelsea though are prepared to tempt them with a mega bid though, which means Abraham’s situation may remain unresolved until late in the window.
Abraham has previously indicated he would prefer to stay in London.
