Crystal Palace want to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The 22-year old has one year left in his contract at the Emirates, but is surplus to requirements at the Emirates and, with one year left on his current deal, has refused to signa contract extension.
Earlier this year he broke Alan Shearer’s record of goals for England at under-21 level, but now wants to play regular first-team football, having seen his role under Mikel Arteta reduced to that of fringe squad player.
Palace, under new boss, Patrick Vieira, are busy trying to add depth to a squad that had only 18 senior players under contract when he arrived.
Nketiah is valued at around £20 million.
The South London club are also being linked with a move for Danish striker Kasper Dolberg, who Vieira previously signed when he was in charge at French club Nice., and was top scorer in his first season with the club.
