Tottenham are tracking Sassuolo right-back Mert Muldur and are considering making a move for the Turkish international.
They face competition, though, with West Ham and several other Premier League clubs reported to be interested in the 22-year-old.
New head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and the recently appointed Director of Football Fabio Paratici are busy drawing up the club’s summer recruitment plans,, and Mulder is a name that has been mentioned, with Paratici said to be an admirer of him from his time in Italy.
One of the attractions of Muldur, who has ten senior caps for the Turkish national team is his versatility – he can play on either flank.
However, right-back would appear to be the most pressing need, with Serge Aurier continuously linked with a move away from the club this summer, although he is unlikely to be returning to PSG after they signed Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan.
