Inter Milan are interested in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerín.
They are in the market for a replacement for Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, who is set to join PSG in a deal worth £60 million, out-bidding Chelsea in the process.
Preliminary talks have been held between Inter and the player’s representatives, but the deal could falter because of the proposed terms.
The Gunners valued the Spanish international at £17 million, whilst Inter, who have financial problems, want an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
That is unlikely to interest the Premier League club who want to complete a sale to fund transfer business of their own this summer.
Bellerín, who has two years left on his current deal at the Emirates, is available for sale having fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta, with a feeling that it is best for both player and club that he moves on elsewhere now. ,
