Borussia Dortmund have issued an ultimatum to Manchester United as the protracted Jadon Sancho transfer saga drags on further.
They have told the Premier League side that they want £77 million plus add-ons for the England winger, and that they are not prepared to accept anything less for him.
United have already had one bid of £67 million for the player turned down earlier this month, having spent the best part of last summer in fruitless pursuit of him.
Personal terms have already been agreed between the player and the club, in a deal which will make the 21-year old one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.
But now Dortmund, who want the matter settled one way or the other, before they begin pre-season training in July, have ratcheted up the pressure in the hopes that this long-running soap opera can finally be brought to an end.
