Liverpool are interested in signing Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi this summer.
The 26-year old has been one of the stars of the tournament so far for an impressive Italy side, and could be the subject of a transfer bid once the tournament is over.
He ahs provided an assist for his country in each of their opening two group games, and that form has been enough to pique interest in him from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Last season, Berardi, playing in a right-wing position, scored 17 goal s and provided seven assists for his club in Serie A.
He is under contract with the Italian club until 2014, but like any teams across Europe, they are struggling financially, and could be willing to let the player, who is their highest earner, go for the right fee.
Berardi could be lined-up as a potential replacement for Mo Salah, whose long-term future on Merseyside is in doubt. The Egyptian has two years left on his current deal at Anfield, but has so far declined to discuss extending hs deal amidst continuing interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
