Brazilian forward Willian wants to return to Chelsea.
The 32-year-old left the West London club on a free transfer last summer, and moved across town to Arsenal, signing a three-year deal with them.
At the time, his preference was to remain with Chelsea, but they would not agree to the length of contract he wanted.
However, he has not been able to settle in North London, and failed to make any significant impact, scoring just once in 37 appearances. Many Arsenal fans have labelled him the flop of the season, and his inclusion in the side has been blamed for inhibiting the progress of some of the club’s younger players, like Nicolas Pépé and Reese Nelson. .
Now he wants to leave after just one season, and his preferred destination is his old club.
Inter Miami are also reported to be interested in a player that Arsenal are keen to offload.
