PSG have emerged as one of the favourites to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at Anfield next month, and has turned down the option of extending his stary with Jurgen Klopp’s side because he is unhappy at the length of deal on offer.
After the match with Crystal Palace on Sunday, Klopp confirmed that Wijnaldum was leaving the club.
It was widely thought that he would be heading to Barcelona and a reunion with former Dutch international boss Ronald Koeman, wit even suggestions that a pre-contract agreement was in place.
However, all that is now in doubt, with Barcelona yet to make a formal offer, and doubts cast overt eh future of Koeman at the Catalan club after Barcelona finished outside the two places in La Liga for the first time in 13 years.
Now it looks like PSG may be in pole position to sign him, as Mauricio Pochettino looks to strengthen his squad this summer.
