There is growing speculation that Harry Kane will leave Spurs this season.
The news has put Premier League rivals Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea on alert, but long-time admirers Real Madrid will always want to throw their hat into the ring.
The England captain has become increasingly unhappy about Tottenham’s failure to challenge for major honours and now he is hoping that chairman Daniel Levy will honour a “gentleman’s agreement” to allow him to leave when the time is right.
Tottenham have previously ruled out selling a player who is under contract with them until 2024, but with another season gone without silverware, Kane is aware that time is running out if her wants to get his hands on the biggest domestic and European honours.
Whoever wants to buy him will ned deep pockets though. It is widely thought that Levy will consider any offers north of £150 million for the striker.
