Spurs want to sign Fulham defender Joachim Anderson.
The Dane has spent the season on loan at Craven Cottage from French side Lyon, and has impressed, despite the West London side heading straight back to the Championship after just one year back in the top flight. Although he is due to return to France, the 24-year old wants to stay in the Premier League.
Reports suggest that he could be available for around £20 million.
Tottenham want to upgrade their centre-back options in the summer, and have been linked with Anderson before, tracking him when he was playing in Italy for Sampdoria.
No firm discussions will take place until the end of the season and any decision could yet be swayed as to who becomes their new manager.
Anderson, who has four senior caps for Denmark, has made 29 Premier League appearances so far for Fulham, notching up a single goal.
