Spurs will begin holding interviews with prospective candidates for the vacant position of manager in the next few days.
They are looking for a successor to Jose Mourinho who was sacked last month.
One name who will not be part of the process though is Brandan Rodgers. The 48-year old boss of Leicester City was on the club’s original shortlist, but he has ruled himself and remains committed to his current project.
Other names first linked such as Julian Nagelsmann and Eric ten Hag are also no longer in contention having accepted other offers.
One man who will be interviewed though is Fulham manager Scott Parker. A former midfielder with Spurs, he is highly thought of, despite the Cottagers relegation back to the Championship.
He is also wanted by the Football Association to lead the England under-21 side, although he could yet remain with Fulham as they attempt to bounce straight back to the Premier League again.
