Arsenal are being linked with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
However, before making a move for the 26-year old Cameroon international, they are awaiting the outcome of his appeal to CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) against his doping ban.
He was suspended for 12 months by UEFA after testing positive for the banned substance Furosemide.
Onana has always professed his innocence of any offence, maintaining that he took the substance, which had been prescribed for his wife, by accident.
Currently he is prevented from even training with the Dutch side under the terms of his ban, and is maintaining his fitness by working with a goalkeeping coach from a local club in Amsterdam.
With Onana’s contract due to expire in 2022, there have been suggestions that the Eredivisie champions could accept a bod of just £7 million for a player, who was previously linked with a move to Chelsea last summer.
