Jose Mourinho does not take up his new job with Roma until the end of the season.
But already he is being linked with possible transfer moves for players who he managed whilst he was in charge of Tottenham.
The South American due of Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura have both been mentioned as possible targets for the Serie A club alongside Eric Dier, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. All four were Mourinho favourites during his time in North London.
Lamela in particular seems a potential option, He is about to enter the final year of his contract, and knows Roma well, having played for the Giallorossi before moving to the Premier League eight years ago.
Much may depend though on who eventually replaces Mourinho at the North London Stadium as they will have a key role in deciding who stays, and who will be allowed to leave the club this summer.
