Jadon Sancho’s price tag has been slashed.
Borussia Dortmund slapped a £110 million valuation on the England winger’s head last summer, which, in the end, was enough to force a planned bid for him by Manchester United to be abandoned.
But now it appears that Dortmund and Sancho have a gentleman’s agreement that he will be allowed to leave the Bundesliga side at the end of the season, alerting both United and Liverpool as to his potential availability, and at a more affordable price.
However, the North-West duo could face competition from a familiar source in their bid to sign the 21-year old, with increasing speculation that Chelsea may also be ready to bid for him.
The West London club are willing to back Thomas Tuchel; in the transfer market this summer, and they have been linked with a number of big name signings like Sancho’s team mate Erling Haaland.
However, Sancho may be a more realistic option now that his price has been lowered.
