Olivier Giroud could be set for a reunion with former Arsenal teammate Mesut Ozil at Turkish side Fenerbahçe.
The 34-year-old’s current contract at Stamford Bridge ends in the summer, and the Super Lig side are hoping to persuade him to make the move to Turkey.
The pair played together for five seasons at the Emirates, before Giroud crossed the capital and swapped North for West London.
Giroud has found himself increasingly marginalised since Thomas Tuchel took over as manager, although he has still scored some vital goals for them this season particularly in the Champions League.
Ozil’s own protracted association with the Gunners finally ended in January, when he moved to the Turkish side, although so far he has struggled to live up to the hype that surrounded him when he first arrived in Istanbul.
During their time together at Arsenal, they won three FA Cups under the stewardship of Arsene Wenger.
